If you're not in a position to make a financial donation, you can give us something equally valuable: your time and expertise.
Sponsoring an event, hosting a workshop, or speaking to a class is a great way to give back to the community, as well as helping the next generation of entrepreneurs. But it can also benefit you by:
- Increasing awareness of your brand. College students share their experiences on social media. If they have a great time at a workshop or see a product that sparks their interest, they're going to talk about it on Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms. And if it's a big event, you might be featured in media coverage.
- Forming fresh partnerships. A workshop could give you the opportunity to connect with other businesses in your field, or talk to representatives of government agencies. Networking always pays off.
- Testing products and ideas. Workshops and speaking events connect you directly with an audience that can provide you with customer feedback.
- Getting access to a rich talent pool. Mason produces some of the top graduates in the country, and our diverse student body comes from around the globe. You could form an early connection with future employees and global markets.
An Opportunity Every Summer
The Mason Summer Entrepreneurship Accelerator (MSEA) program is the perfect place to share your skills. Student teams are mentored in an intensive eight-week "Lean Startup" program.
